J. Michael Tucker has nearly fifteen years of experience as a San Francisco-based commercial photographer. Whether it's in the calm of the corporate board room or the chaos of sports events, J. Michael specializes in capturing the humanity of his subjects in environmental portraits that convey an artistic "truth."

A 1991 graduate of the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, J. Michael approaches each shoot -- be it for advertising, corporate or personal clients -- as an opportunity for collaborative adventure between photographer and subject. The result of his impassioned team approach is a body of work packed with personality. J. Michael has honed his craft shooting in a variety of environments, including studios, fashion runways, athletic fields, religious settings, and rural and urban landscapes from Los Angeles to Paris. J. Michael works out of his San Francisco photo studio and at any location required by a photo shoot.
